In line with era of globalization, issues related to IPR are getting more urgent to be continuously socialized, especially internal of Udayana University. This is because the understanding and overall overview regarding IPR among academic staffs need to be further improved.

In order to be able to give better services relating to IPR matters, The IPR Centre of Udayana University was set up, through the decree of Rector of Udayana University No. : 821/J14.HK/01.25/2001, regarding the establishment and support for the continuation of the operation of the IPR Centre Udayana University, dated 15 February 2001.

Udayana University has moral obligation for giving IPR socialization to its own community and to public. Furthermore the IPR Centre of Udayana University is also actively taking role in improving public understanding on IPR through its academic staffs in particular and through all staffs in general.

The IPR of Udayana University is also actively play part through collaboration with the local goverment and related institution for carrying out socialization to public on the important and urgency in registering IPR (especially the community of Bali).
